my first year i foolishly took on a yearbook in an inner city auto mechanics vocational h.s. when it went in the tank (pin intended as always) the principal tried to have me banned from any other additional paid duties until I personally paid off the debt. Our union's lawyer laughed himself silly and had the letter thrown out in a 2minute conversation. Just teacher b.s. is all

too much of that going around.

unfortunately this bit of minutiae has nothing to do with teaching, just home-town high schoolish nonsense that isn't tolerable in the least. unbearably drama-filled.
